Luevano, Terriers Cruise to Victory at CCSU Mini Meet

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Paced by a 1-2 finish from freshman Paul Luevano and sophomore Alexander Seal, the Boston University men's cross country team cruised to a victory at the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday afternoon at Stanley Quarter Park.
The Terriers scored a mere 40 points to earn a 16-point victory over the hosts. Luevano crossed the finish line in 14:51.2, with Seal following in 15:01.5. Three other Terriers finished in the top 15 to help secure the team title. Freshmen Brett Davidson (15:25.3) and Greg Pelose (15:25.4) were 11th and 12th, respectively, with junior Cullin Burdett behind them in 14th (15:26.2).
All seven BU harriers that competed placed in the top 30. Senior Ethan Homan took 17th (15:31.4) and sophomore Johnny Kemps was 28th (15:38.8).
BU will look to carry this momentum into next weekend's Patriot League Championship, which will be held at Lafayette on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 12 p.m.
