Terriers Compete at CCSU Mini Meet

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Boston University women's cross country team competed at the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday afternoon at Stanley Quarter Park.
The Terriers finished fifth in the 17-team field with a score of 178 points. Sophomore Courtney Breiner was the top finisher for BU with a 14th-place performance (10:30.3).
Junior Gabrielle DiRenzo joined Breiner in the top 20 with a time of 10:36.7. Freshman Abigail was close behind in 23rd (10:42.0), followed by senior Tina Romak (11:03.1) in 59th and senior Hallie Armstrong (11:07.4) in 62nd. Sophomore Alicia Huerta (11:07.6) and freshman Ally Schlosser (11:09.9) also raced.
Next on the docket for the Terriers is the Patriot League Championship, an event they have won twice in the last three years. The 2016 championship will be contested at Lafayette on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m.
