HANOVER, N.H. - The Boston University golf team continued its fall season this past weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational.
BU finished ninth in the 14-team field with a two-day total of 633 (321-312). The Terriers improved their score by nine strokes from Saturday to Sunday.
Freshman Abby Parsons was the Terriers' top finisher with a two-day total of 155 thanks to a final-round 76. She began her weekend with a 79 and was tied for 22nd at the conclusion of 36 holes. Senior Adela Cejnarova (78-80) and junior Phyllis Tang (82-77) were tied for 33rd and tied for 37th, respectively. Cejnarova carded a 158 and Tang totaled a 159.
Sophomore Megan Carter shot 79 on Sunday to finish with a score of 162 (83-79) while freshman Zhangcheng Guo totaled a 169 (82-87). Freshman Saeros Oskarsdottir competed as an individual and joined Cejnarova in a tie for 33rd with a score of 158 (81-77).
BU will be back on the course next weekend at the three-day, 54-hole UNC Greensboro Invitational that begins on Oct. 2.
