Terriers Hold Second Place After Terrier Invitational Opening Day

Results
BOSTON - Taking Competition Pool for the opening day of the 13th annual Terrier Invitational, the Boston University women's swimming and diving team posted a strong all-around effort to stand in second place with 247 points.
Patriot League foe Army West Point claimed the top spot after opening day with 294 points, while Boston College sits behind the Terriers with 207 points.
BU placed within the top three in four out of final final events on the day. Grace Anderson notched BU's first victory of the invitational with a time of 4:53.59 in the 500 free. Erin Nabney followed with a first-place finish in the 200 yard IM at 2:03.58.
The Terrier Invitational resumes Saturday with preliminaries commencing at 10 a.m. and the finals will start at 6 p.m.
