BU Sits in Third Following Second Day of Terrier Invitational

BOSTON - Concluding the second day of the Terrier Invitational, the Boston University women's swimming and diving team displayed another strong effort in the pool to sit in third place heading into the final day of competition.
Army West Point owns the top spot with 642 points, while Boston College follows with 514, edging out the Terriers by 10 points.
BU picked up 40 points in the 200 free, as Sydney Lee won the event with a time of 1:50.32. Meghan Egan rounded out the podium, clocking in at 1:51.65, and Erin Nabney finished sixth at 1:52.05. The Terriers also had a strong showing in the 200 free, as Julimar Avila clocked in at 56.52 for a second-place finish and Hannah Katz took the sixth spot at 57.07. Sydney Lee, Meghan Egan, Erin Nabney, Grace Anderson closed out the night by winning the 800 free relay, ticking in at 7:26.58.
The Terrier Invitational will close out on Sunday, as preliminaries will start at 10 a.m. and the finals will begin at 6 p.m.
