BU Remains in Fourth After Second Day of Terrier Invitatinal

BOSTON - Following the second day of the Terrier Invitational, the Boston University men's swimming and diving team remains in fourth place heading into the final day of action from Competition Pool.
Army West Point remains in first place with 726.5 points and Boston College follows with 689.5. UMass staked the third spot with 578 points and BU rounded up 4-6.5 points.
Trevor Winans won his second event of the invitational, taking the 200 free with a time of 1:38.62. Garrett Chin and Erik Ryan posted strong showings in the 400 IM, as Chin took second at 3:58.96 and Ryan earned the seventh spot with a time of 4:03.85. Winans, Paolo Casas, Judson Balding and Michael Choate closed out the night with a fourth-place finish in the 800 free relay, clocking in at 6:51.59.
The Terrier Invitational will close out on Sunday, as preliminaries will start at 10 a.m. and the finals will begin at 6 p.m.
