Terriers Wrap Up Fall Slate at Harvard Invitational

ALLSTON, Mass. – The Boston University women's tennis team wrapped up the fall schedule over the weekend at the Harvard Invitational with four Terriers collecting two singles wins apiece.

Senior Iryna Kostirko defeated the top singles players from both Pittsburgh (6-1, 6-4) and Middle Tennessee State (2-6, 6-2, 11-9) before coming up just short to Syracuse's Maria Tritou (2-6, 6-2, 10-7). She also posted a pair of doubles wins with freshman Emily Kim, who collected singles wins over the Panthers and Orange.

Both junior Remi Ramos and freshman Lily Burchell recorded two singles victories as well and teamed together for a perfect 3-0 doubles mark. After blanking Pitt, 6-0, they posted identical 7-5 wins over MTSU and Syracuse.

BU will next open the dual season on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Dartmouth with a 4:30 p.m. start time.
