Looking for its third straight win and fourth in its last five games, the Boston University women's basketball team will visit Loyola Maryland on Saturday with tip-off slated for 4 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
  • The Terriers defeated American, 71-62, on Wednesday night at Case Gym for their second-straight win and third in four games.
  • BU was led by senior Sarah Hope who scored a career-high 24 points.
  • In the final minute of the game, junior Corrine Williams and Hope combined to go 11-for-12 from the free-throw line to keep the Eagles out of reach.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
  • The Greyhounds are led by junior Bri Betz-White who is averaging 15.9 points per game, the second most in the conference.
  • Freshman Stephanie Karcz is second on the team in scoring with 9.9 ppg and also leads Loyola in rebounding with 6.4 rpg.
  • Loyola is current 5-7 in the PL, tied for sixth place.
  • The Greyhounds have lost three straight after falling to Navy, 55-43, on Wednesday. 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Loyola and BU will meet for the ninth time on Saturday with the series tied at four wins apiece.
  • BU defeated Loyola, 61-58, at Case Gym on Jan. 14. The Terriers trailed by 15 points in the second half but outscored Loyola, 25-10, in the fourth quarter to take a thrilling come-from-behind victory.
  • The Terriers were led by junior Sophie Beaudry, who scored 24 points and added 10 rebounds.

  • After Saturday's contest, BU will host Colgate at Case Gym on Wednesday,  Feb 15, at 7 p.m.
