MIAMI – Facing its first ranked opponent of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at No. 26 Florida International on Friday afternoon.

The Panthers swept through doubles by a combined score of 18-5 and then captured all six singles points, including four in straight sets.
Sophomore Remi Ramos rallied from a set down to force a third at line 2 but ultimately came up short, 6-0, 1-6, 6-3.
Senior Barbara Rodriguez jumped out to a strong start in the No. 4 slot but was eventually edged in a super tiebreaker, 2-6, 6-0, 10-6.
