MIAMI – Facing its first ranked opponent of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at No. 26 Florida International on Friday afternoon.

- The Panthers swept through doubles by a combined score of 18-5 and then captured all six singles points, including four in straight sets.
- Sophomore Remi Ramos rallied from a set down to force a third at line 2 but ultimately came up short, 6-0, 1-6, 6-3.
- Senior Barbara Rodriguez jumped out to a strong start in the No. 4 slot but was eventually edged in a super tiebreaker, 2-6, 6-0, 10-6.
- Having concluded their spring break trip to Florida, the Terriers will return home to host Brown at the Boston Athletic Club on Sunday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m.
