BOSTON – In a matchup featuring the last two Patriot League champions, the 2016 NCAA tournament participant Boston University softball team will open conference play at 2015 NCAA berth winner Lehigh on Saturday with action slated to begin at 10:15 a.m.
Saturday's doubleheader was originally scheduled for 12 p.m. but was pushed up in hopes of avoiding a potential afternoon rain shower.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- Since joining the Patriot League in the summer of 2013, the Terriers are 31-22 (.585) in regular season action against conference opponents with two league tournament titles in three years ... BU though has yet to finish higher than second in the regular season standings.
- The Terriers have lost their last three games, totaling four runs in 21 innings after claiming a 5-4 win at defending Big West champion Cal State Fullerton.

- The Mountain Hawks will be playing their first home game of the season after spending the last two weeks in California.
