NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Facing its fifth Ivy League opponent of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team fell at Yale, 7-0, on Friday evening.

- The Bulldogs won two of the three doubles matches for the first point and then claimed all six singles points, including five in straight sets.
- Junior Iryna Kostirko and sophomore Sabrina Faybyshev prevented the sweep in doubles with a hard-fought 7-6(8) victory at line 2, as Yale pulled out 6-3 wins in the other two slots.
- Kostirko rallied from a set down at No. 1 singles to force a third but was edged by Carol Finke, 7-6(5), 2-6, 10-5.
- Sophomore Remi Ramos (#2), senior Barbara Rodriguez (#4) and sophomore Sophia Kryloff (#5) all won six games apiece in their respective singles match.
- The Terriers will remain in New Haven, Conn. and next face former America East foe Stony Brook on Saturday (March 25) at 11 a.m.
