NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Facing its fifth Ivy League opponent of the season, the Boston University women's tennis team fell at Yale, 7-0, on Friday evening.

MATCH NOTES

The Bulldogs won two of the three doubles matches for the first point and then claimed all six singles points, including five in straight sets.
Junior Iryna Kostirko and sophomore Sabrina Faybyshev prevented the sweep in doubles with a hard-fought 7-6(8) victory at line 2, as Yale pulled out 6-3 wins in the other two slots.
Kostirko rallied from a set down at No. 1 singles to force a third but was edged by Carol Finke, 7-6(5), 2-6, 10-5.
Sophomore Remi Ramos (#2), senior Barbara Rodriguez (#4) and sophomore Sophia Kryloff (#5) all won six games apiece in their respective singles match.
