Terriers Take Third at Patriot League Championship

RESULTS
BETHLEHEM, PA - Highlighted by gold medal performances by seniors Cameron Williams and David Oluwadara, the Boston University men's track & field team finished third at 2017 Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championship which concluded Saturday at Lehigh University.
The Terriers finished with five gold medals overall and a total of 147 points, behind 2017 PL Outdoor Champion Navy (257 points) and runner-up Army West Point (167 points).

TOP FINISHES
• The 4x100m relay team of Jordan Love, Chiebuka Onwuzurike, Cameron Williams and Justin Flynn, won gold with a time of 40.26.
• Sophomore Alexander Seal repeated as 1500m champion with a time 3:38.95.
• Cam Williams won gold in the 100m dash with a time of 10.63. BU swept the 100m dash event as Justin Flynn won silver (10.77) and Cameron Nurse won bronze (10.85).
• Senior Ethan Homan defended his PL outdoor title in the 800m run with a time of 1:49.93.
• Freshman Jamin Harris finished second in 400m hurdles in a very close race, winning silver with a time of 53.29, but just behind Navy's Cameron Hurd who won gold with a time of 53.22.
• In the 200m dash, All-American Cameron Williams, who is the school and Patriot League record holder in the event, was disqualified for a false start. Cameron Nurse won silver in the event with a time of 21.67, just behind gold-medal winner Devin Enslen from Navy, who finished with a time of 21.66.
• Senior All-American David Oluwadara defended his PL title in the triple jump with a 15.99m (52'5.50") effort. On Friday, Oluwadara finished second in the long jump with a 6.93m (22' 9") jump.
• Freshman Paul Luevano won gold in the 500m run, once again coming from behind to out duel Navy's Lucas Stalnaker. Luevano finished with a time of 14:25.17 to Stalnaker's 14.28.46.
• In the final event of the championship meet, the 4x400m relay team of Justin Flynn, Cameron Nurse, Cameron Williams, and Chiebuka Onwuzurike finished second with a time of 3:15.16, behind winner Army West Point (3:12.97).
• Freshman Johnny Kemps finished third in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:27.61.
