Terriers Take Second at IC4A Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - Thanks to victories from seniors Cameron Williams and Ethan Homan, the Boston University men's track & field team finished second at the 2017 IC4A Championships at Princeton's Weaver Stadium.
BU totaled 47 points, just behind LIU Brooklyn, which earned 52 points. Eight different Terriers earned points over the weekend to help the Terriers to their impressive finish.
Homan won the 800m run, finishing with a season-best time of 1:48.44. Williams was victorious in the 200m dash, claiming first with a time of 20.64 seconds. Junior Cameron Nurse finished fifth in the 200m dash thanks to a time of 21.22 seconds.
Freshman Brett Davidson began the weekend with a third-place finish in the 10,000m run on Friday night. He posted a personal-best time of 30:11.59, less than two seconds behind the second-place performer.
BU took three of the top eight spots in the 1,500m run, led by sophomore Alexander Seal in second (3:47.52) and freshman Paul Luevano right behind him in third (3:47.81). Senior Matti Groll was eighth (3:52.13). Sophomore Johnny Kemps (3:54.38) and junior Liam O'Connell (3:57.12) also ran that event.
Senior Justin Flynn secured seventh in the 100m dash with a time of 10.70 seconds and freshman Jamin Harris finished the 400m hurdles in 54.57 seconds.
