  • After winning a 92-81 shootout against Lehigh, the Terriers relied on the defense to win the next two ... They first held Colgate to 29.5 FG% in a 72-58 win and then limited Holy Cross to just 40 points for the Crusaders' lowest offensive output in a Patriot League game since 2008.
  • Highlighted by his third career double-double against Colgate, sophomore Tyler Scanlon (9.5 ppg) averaged 12.7 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 3.3 apg last week, while classmate Max Mahoney (12.4 ppg, 5.1 rpg) posted a team-high 14.7 ppg.
  • Senior Cedric Hankerson (14.4 ppg) recorded 10 points on Sunday at Holy Cross to become the 17th-ever Terrier to reach 1,200 career points.
  • Freshman Walter Whyte (7.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg) has increased his point and rebound totals to 9.5 ppg and 5.7 rpg in conference play.
  • The Terriers rank 52nd nationally in 3-point field goal shooting percentage (.384) and 64th in steals (7.5 spg).

  • The Eagles are 1-10 on the road compared to their 3-3 home mark ... The lone road win came against New Hampshire (74-70), who also dropped a 70-69 decision to the Terriers.
  • American snapped a six-game losing streak on Jan. 11 with a 76-65 home win over Loyola Maryland, who handed the Terriers their lone Patriot League defeat so far this season.
