Anderson Breaks 200 Free Record, 800 Free Relay Team Breaks School Record on PL Championships Opening Day

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Senior Grace Anderson of the Boston University women's swimming and diving team led off the 800 free relay with a school record time of 1:46.25 to guide the relay team to a record-breaking time of 7:14.01 on the opening day of the Patriot League Championships, hosted by Navy at Lejeune Hall.
As a team, BU finished in fourth place, stringing together a score of 60 after three events.
The 200 medley team also posted a strong showing as it finished in fifth place with a season-best time of 1:44.04.
Navy piled up 80 points to hold the top spot, while Lehigh (64) and Army West Point (62) just edged out the Terriers. Loyola Maryland (58), American (46), Colgate (46), Holy Cross (44), Lafayette (32), and Bucknell (30) rounded out the 10-team field.
The 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 400 medley relay will take place tomorrow.
