Terriers in Fourth after Day One of PL Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Boston University golf team is in fourth place after the first two rounds of the Patriot League Championship at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
BU combined for a 36-hole score of 651 (325-326), which is 16 shots back of co-leaders Richmond and Navy, which both combined for a total of 635. Bucknell is third (647), while the Terriers are six strokes ahead of fifth-place Lehigh (657), with Holy Cross currently sixth (706).
Sophomore Zhangcheng Guo was second after the first round thanks to a 77. She was one of only four golfers to shoot below 80 in the opening round. Guo carded a second-round 81 and enters Sunday tied for fourth at 158, just six shots behind the leader.
Junior Megan Carter fired a 79 in the second round and is currently tied for 10th (83-79--162). Senior Phyllis Tang is next for the Terriers in a tie for 15th (81-84-165), followed by sophomore Abby Parsons in a tie for 17th (84-83-167) and freshman Katerina Doleckova in a tie for 21st (85-83-168).
Sunday's final round will begin at 8:30 a.m.
