Four Terriers finished in the top 10 against a Seminole squad that received votes in the latest USTFCCCA national poll. Sophomore Laura Parkinson led BU in sixth with a 5K time of 19:16.54. She was followed by senior Alicia Huerta (19:27.08) in seventh and junior Abigail Gugel (19:31.98) in eighth. Freshman Jessica Kellar had a strong collegiate debut, placing 10th with a time of 19:35.70.
Sophomore Corrine Batsu finished 11th with a time of 19:35.70, followed by senior Dominique Betterbed (19:36.17) in 12th. Sophomore Veronica Kriss ran a time of 19:38.21 to finish 14th in her collegiate debut. Junior Coco Ocker also made her cross country debut, running a time of 19:54.36. Junior Ally Schlosser was right behind Ocker at 19:57.81, followed by freshman Stephanie Casaletto (19:59.54), freshman Meghan Convery (20:11.88), sophomore Stephanie Forbes (20:15.66), freshman Angela Castronuovo (20:21.20), senior Elin Wolker (20:36.22) and freshman Taylor Leggett (21:05.04).
BU will return to Franklin Park next Friday, Sept. 21, when they compete in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
