BOSTON - Riding a four-game win streak, the Boston University women's basketball team will host Colgate on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Case Gym. Tip-off from The Roof is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

FIRST THINGS FIRST

  • BU is in first place in the Patriot League standings for the first time since joining the conference six years ago.
  • First-year head coach Marisa Moseley is the only first-year head coach in NCAA DI women's basketball to own an unblemished record in home games.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • In a matchup of the two undefeated teams in the Patriot League on Saturday, the Terriers held Lehigh to a season-low 27.5 percent shooting mark en route to a 58-45 win to stand atop the conference standings.
  • Nia Irving led the Terriers in points (15) and rebounds (8), while Riley Childs made her return from a two-game absence with 12 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
  • BU pushed its win streak to four, its longest since the 2016-17 season.
  • Irving has scored in double figures in 10 straight games, scoring at least 15 points in four of those contests, and has two double-doubles on the season.
  • Lauren Spearman has accounted for 39 of the team's 73 makes from beyond-the-arc, good for 53.4 percent.
  • Payton Hauck has nearly doubled her scoring average from last season (6.9) and has also been looking for her shot more from deep, connecting on 8-of-20 attempts.
  • The Terriers have averaged 65.3 points per game at Case Gym and have won by an average margin of 13.3 points.
  • BU is 7-0 when scoring more than 60 points and when leading at the half.

SCOUTING COLGATE

  • Coming off a 62-49 defeat to Navy, Colgate enters Wednesday's matchup with an even 2-2 record in conference games and stands at 6-8 overall.
  • Mylah Chandler notched a double-double with 13 rebounds and 14 points against the Mids.
  • Chandler ranks second in the league in blocked shots per game (1.3) and third in field goal percentage (51.6).
  • Rachel Thompson is averaging team-bests of 11.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
  • Summer King is right behind with 10.2 points per game and ranks third in the team in rebounding (5.1).
  • The Raiders are just 2-6 in road games.

THE SERIES

  • BU has won the last three matchups to tie its longest winning streak against Colgate.
  • Overall, the Terriers lead the all-time series 11-6 and have won four of the last six games, while two of the last four have gone into overtime.
  • Additionally, the Terriers are 6-1 against at home and are 6-5 against Colgate since joining the Patriot League.
  • The Raiders were the lone Patriot League opponent that the Terriers swept last season.
