Terriers Tied for Third Place After Patriot League Championships Opener

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Boston University women's swimming & diving team recorded a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 200 medley and 800 free relay events to stand in a tie for third place after the opening night of the Patriot League Championships Wednesday at Kinney Natatorium.
The 200 medley relay team of Allison Winter, Julimar Avila, Kara Lydzinski, Sydney Brown ticked in at 1:42.91, just 78 tenths of a second shy of breaking the school record. The 800 free team of Sydney Lee, Erin Nabney, Brittany Steinfeld, Carly Soares followed with a time of 7:21.61.
The one-meter dive, 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 400 medley relay will take place tomorrow.
