Terriers Surge to Second Place at Midway Point of PL Championships

RESULTS
LEWISBURG, Pa. - Highlighted by Erin Nabney's record-breaking performance in the 200 IM, the Boston University women's swimming & diving team surged ahead to position itself in second place after day two at the Patriot League Championships, hosted by Bucknell at Kinney Natatorium.
Nabney broke her own school record in the 200 IM, ticking in at 2:01.22 for a second-place finish.

Carly Soares just missed the podium in the 400 free, taking fourth place with a time of 4:53.38.
Julimar Avila and Katherine Russack recorded sixth-place finishes in the 50 free and one-meter dive, while the 400 free relay team of Allison Winter, Nabney, Kara Lydzinski and Avila closed out the night with another sixth-place finish to give BU 181 points at the halfway point.
The 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 200 free relay will take place tomorrow.
