
Terriers Compete in Round Two of Kiawah Island Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - The Boston University golf team competed in the second round of the Kiawah Island Classic on Monday afternoon at Oak Point GC.
BU combined to shoot 304 for the second straight day for a 36-hole total of 608. The Terriers are also the top Patriot League school after two rounds, as they are ahead of Navy, Lehigh, Richmond and Bucknell. BU enters Tuesday's final round tied for 18th.
Senior Megan Carter, who is playing as an individual this week, has the Terriers' best score after two rounds. She followed Sunday's 73 with a 74 on Monday to finish the afternoon tied for 32nd with a total of 147.
Junior Annie Sritragul fired a 74 and is tied for 53rd with a score of 150. Classmate Zhangcheng Guo fired a second-round 73 and is two shots back of Sritragul in a tie for 85th (79-73--152). Freshman Hanako Kawasaki, who entered the day tied for 10th after an opening-round 71, shot 82 on Monday and is tied with junior Abby Parsons (78-76--153) for 101st. Sophomore Katerina Doleckova (80-83--163) also competed.
BU will finish the tournament on Tuesday at Osprey Point GC, with the Terriers scheduled to tee off at 8:45.
