Terriers Compete at Bryan National Collegiate

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. - The Boston University golf team competed at the Bryan National Collegiate hosted by Wake Forest this weekend at the Bryan Park Champions Course.
BU improved its score each day and finished 17th with a total of 940 (323-314-303). Wake Forest won with a score of 830, topping a field that contained several ACC schools.
Freshman Hanako Kawasaki led the Terriers with a 54-hole total of 229 (75-78-76), which placed her in a tie for 57th. Junior Zhangcheng Guo carded a 237 (85-78-74) thanks to a final-round 74, which was the lowest single-day score of the weekend by a Terrier. Sophomore Katerina Doleckova shot a final-round 76 to finish 90th with a 241 (83-82-76), followed by senior Megan Cafrter (80-87-77--244) and junior Abby Parsons (87-76-84--247). The Terriers combined for 18 birdies over three days, including a team-high six by Guo.
One more regular-season tournament remains for the Terriers, as they will travel to Annapolis, Maryland, for the 36-hole Navy Invitational which begins on April 13.
