BOSTON - The Boston University women's openweight rowing team returns home to compete on the Charles River for the first time this spring season, taking on Boston College and Northeastern on Saturday.
Racing begins on Saturday at 8:36 a.m. when the BU V8 races against BC and NU with the 2V8 race following at 9:00 a.m. The Terriers will then send out their varsity four at 9:24 a.m. followed by the 3V8 at 9:48 a.m. in a two-boat race vs. BC.
A live broadcast of the day's action can be seen beginning at 8:30 a.m. at StadiumTV. Live results will be available on Saturday at HereNow
Saturday's racing will be the first time the openweight team has competed on the Charles River this spring. The Terriers opened their spring season on the road at the Doc Hosea Invite in Cherry Hill, N.J. on March 30. At Doc Hosea, the BU V8 boat competed the petite final and finished fourth ahead of crews from Temple and UMass.
After this weekend, BU will next take on Dartmouth on April 13.
