BALTIMORE, Md. – Remaining perfect in Patriot League play, the Boston University women's tennis team claimed a 7-0 sweep at Loyola Maryland on Sunday afternoon.
The Terriers (11-8, 5-0 PL) quickly earned the doubles point and then captured the six singles points in straight sets to defeat the Greyhounds (11-4, 3-2 PL).

- In the first meeting since eliminating Loyola in the 2018 PL quarterfinals, BU won in doubles by a combined score of 18-4 with senior Remi Ramos and sophomore Lily Burchell posting a 6-1 victory in the top slot.
- Seniors Sabrina Faybyshev and Sophia Kryloff duplicated their efforts with a 6-1 win at line 3, while sophomore Emily Kim and freshman Shelly Yaloz posted a 6-2 win in the No. 2 slot.
- Yaloz led the way in the top singles match by edging 2018 All-PL First Team honoree Kateri Martin, 7-5, 7-5.
- Faybyshev dropped the fewest games with a 6-1, 6-1 win at line 6, while both Burchell (#3) and Kim (#4) dropped just three apiece.
- Ramos (#2) and sophomore Katya Martens (#5) also coasted in the matches, dropping four games apiece.
- The Terriers will return to Massachusetts for the final two matches of the regular season.
- They will first face UConn on Wednesday (April 13) at Harvard with a 2:30 p.m. start time.
- BU dropped a 4-3 decision in Storrs last season.
