WATERTOWN, Mass. – Concluding its two-match homestand at the Mount Auburn Club, the Boston University women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 victory over Bryant Saturday evening.
The Terriers (2-0) swept through doubles with a combined score of 18-5 and then claimed five of the six singles points in straight sets to hand the Bulldogs (2-1) their first defeat of the dual schedule.

- Junior Dani Blaser and freshman Sofia Kostirko blanked their opponent at line 3 to start off doubles.
- Junior Lily Burchell and freshman Steph Nguyen posted a 6-2 victory in the No. 2 slot, while freshman Erica Di Battista and junior Alex Angyalosy posted a 6-3 win in the top slot.
- Four Terriers each had a perfect set in singles action with Burchell dropping just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 victory at line 4.
- Di Battista cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory in the No. 1 slot, and junior Emily Kim posted a 6-3, 6-0 win at line 3.
- Both Nguyen (#5) and Kostirko (#6) dropped four games apiece for two more straight-set victories.
- Angyalosy completed the sweep by holding off 2019 All-NEC First Team member Ada Boru in a 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 victory at line 2.
- BU will head to New York for a pair of matches, starting with Cornell on Saturday (Feb. 1) at 11 a.m.
- The Terriers will be facing the Big Red for the first time since claiming a 6-1 win in 2010.
