
BU Athletics Achieves 3.37 GPA Average in 2020 Fall Semester

BOSTON – The student-athletes of the Boston University Department of Athletics continued to excel in the classroom during an unconventional Fall 2020 semester, posting a 3.37 grade-point average, which is the highest on record for a fall semester.
For the second consecutive term, all 24 varsity programs earned a GPA 3.0 or above. Women's golf led the way for the department with a 3.70 average, while women's tennis had the largest improvement compared to last fall, raising its average by 0.32. Furthermore, 23 teams improved their average from the 2019 fall semester.
Additionally, 41 student-athletes finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall.
