BOSTON – Led by a second-place finish in the lightweight fours event, the Boston University women's lightweight rowing team had a total of three boats race down the three-mile Head of the Charles Regatta course on Sunday afternoon with the DeWolfe Boathouse once again serving as the starting line.

Nora Chan, the Terriers' top boat took second in the lightweight fours at 19:16.173 to beat Princeton by 18 seconds. The second BU boat coxed by sophomore
Rayna Kuthiala and stroked by freshman
Nina Palmer finished nine seconds behind the Tigers for fourth place with Stanford, Radcliffe and Gordon College rounding out the list. MIT posted a winning time of 18:39.188.

Lilly McSweeney recorded a time of 17:11.426 to finish fourth in a field of seven.
The program had representation in two other races during the three-day competition with an alumnae eight boat placing 26th out of 47. Boatman
Russ Cone won the grand master/veteran singles event against 125 other boats.
BU is next scheduled to race in the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 13.
