BOSTON – The Boston University women's lightweight rowing team will open its 10th spring season on the Charles River Saturday morning by racing against the Boston College openweight program. The ESPN+ broadcast will get underway at 6:50 a.m. with the Terriers' third varsity eight boat starting things off at 7 a.m.

In last year's competition, BU won both the varsity four and doubles races with the Eagles prevailing in the varsity eight duel on the 2,000-meter course. This past fall, the Terriers' V8 boat placed 13 seconds ahead of BC at the Foot of the Charles, which utilizes a 3,700-meter course.
