BOSTON - The Boston University women's rowing team will continue its spring season this weekend when it races five teams over two days beginning Saturday morning. BU will race BC, UMass and Dartmouth on Saturday and then take on Northeastern, BC and URI on Sunday. 
 
The varsity eight race against BC, UMass and Dartmouth is scheduled for 9:40am on Saturday followed by the 2V8 race at 10am and the V4 at 10:20am. The final race of the day will be the 2V4 against BC at 11am.

On Sunday, BU's V8 will race BC, URI and Northeastern at 9:15am and will conclude with the 2V4 race against BC at 10am.

"The team is looking forward to a busy weekend of racing on the Charles," said director of women's rowing Madeline Davis Tully. "All year we've been working hard to get the chance the line up against other crews and see what we're capable of.  We relish these opportunities to do so against tough competitors on our home water, as we celebrate our seniors' final two home races.  This group of seniors has seen the team through some tremendous growth and some really challenge times. They've put their hearts into this team and I'm excited to be able to send them off with this last weekend of great racing before we head off to the Patriot League Championship."
