I thought we had some really strong performances today," associate head cross country coach Jordan Carpenter said. "We showed that we are on the right path as we head into October and the meat of the season. There were certainly some learning experiences today, but I am excited about the potential that was on display."
Sophomore Matthew Mason led the Terriers with an 8K time of 25:10, good for 38th overall in the 174-runner field.
"Matt ran a really strong race today and placed well in a really competitive field," Carpenter said. "It was a big step for him as he develops into a top athlete in the region."
