EDISTO ISLAND, S.C. - Sophomore Christy Chen and junior Flair Kuan will enter the final round of the Edisto Island Invitational in the top 10 after both shooting a 2-under 69 in Monday's second round at the Plantation Course.

As a team, the Terriers shaved 11 strokes off their first-round score and posted a 293 (+9). They will enter Tuesday in eighth place in the 14-team field and only 11 strokes behind second-place Charleston Southern, which trails tournament host College of Charleston by 12 strokes.

Chen and Kuan each recorded four birdies and two bogeys on Monday. Chen now sits alone in third place at minus-1, three strokes off the lead. Kuan moved 16 spots up the leaderboard with her 69 and is currently tied for ninth at plus-3.

Senior Alice Fan improved six strokes from day one, carding a 4-over 76 to move to plus-16 for the tournament. Classmate Monica Yu also contributed to the team score with a 79 and sits at plus-11 entering the final round, which will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
