Swimming & Diving Set to Host Terrier Invitational

BOSTON - The Boston University swimming & diving teams are ready to host the three-day Terrier Invitational starting on Friday (Nov. 18) at the FitRec Competition Pool.
Prelims will start at 10 a.m. each day while finals will start at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The finals will be broadcast live on ESPN+ each day. A full schedule of events can be found here.
The men's and women's programs from Boston College, Fairfield, Georgetown and Massachusetts will head to Boston for the meet along with the women's program from Northeastern. At last year's Terrier Invitational, Boston College won both sides, holding off runner-ups BU (women) and Georgetown (men).
Modified NCAA Championship meet scoring will be used for all individual swimming events as well as relay events from first through 20th place. Bonus heats in swimming will not be scored. Finals point scoring will be 24-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13 while consolation point scoring will be 11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Relays will be worth twice as much as individual points.
