Tan Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After collecting a pair of victories at Harvard, Boston University women's tennis sophomore Kaitlin Tan has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The reigning PL Rookie of the Year and Tournament MVP went a perfect 2-0 while dropping just six total games for her first career weekly award and the team's first this season.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, she started off by teaming with senior Shelly Yaloz for a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles. She followed up with a dominating 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles against the Crimson's Sophia Ho.
The Terriers will next face off against Boston College on Friday (Feb. 11) in Weymouth with a 5 p.m. start time.
