
Correia, Larson Named AHCA All-American Scholars

BOSTON - Courtney Correia and Ellie Larson of the Boston University women's ice hockey team were selected as Krampade All-American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Association announced Wednesday. Correia and Larson were two of 240 Division I women recognized for excellence in the classroom during the 2021-22 season.
Correia, a forward from Whitby, Ont., had an impactful senior season highlighted by her career-high 14 goals and career-best 25 points. The October Hockey East Player of the Month recorded a career-high 11 assists and began the year with a seven-game point streak (6g, 5a). Correia appeared in 31 games throughout the season.
Larson, a graduate student, played both defense and forward for the Terriers. The Hutchinson, Minn., native scored two goals and added five assists on the season in her 26 games played. One of her goals came in her final game at Walter Brown Arena.
To qualify as a Krampade All-American Scholar, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester while appearing in 40 percent of the team's games.
