Chen Paces Terriers on Day One of Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston University women's golf team opened its season on Saturday with the first two rounds of the Yale Invitational, held at Yale Golf Course. The Terriers will enter Sunday's final round in 12th place.
Sophomore Christy Chen tied for the low round of the day as she opened with a 68 to hold a share of the lead through 18 holes. She enters Sunday tied for 16th after recording a 77 in the second round.
Senior Alice Fan and junior Flair Kuan are both tied for 42nd at plus-9 while senior Monica Yu recorded the team's fourth score in each round and is currently at plus-19.
Through two rounds, BU is 12th (+40) in the 15-team field after scores of 298 and 310.
