
Terriers Close Season at NCAA Northeast Regionals

NEW YORK – The Boston University men's cross country team finished 10th at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday at Van Cortlandt Park. The Terriers' finish marks their best at the regional event since 2017 as all five scorers finished in the top-100.

Sophomore Freddy Collins led BU with a time of 30:17.0, good for 28th overall. The Stow, Mass., native is BU's best finisher since 2018 at regionals. Next in for BU was graduate student Foster Malleck in 38th with a time of 30:26.6. He was closely followed by sophomore Parker Schneider (30:33.2) in 45th.

The final two to score for BU were seniors Robert Hannon (31:05.1) in 80th and Matthew Mason (31:23.2) in 100th. Also competing for BU were senior Alex Brown (31:39.1) in 118th and graduate student Mike Hagen (32:24.2) in 165th.

The Terriers will transition to the indoor track season which begins at home on Dec. 2 with the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.
