BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Robert Hannon and graduate medical student Aksel Laudon were selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the league announced Friday.
Hannon was second in for BU at the Patriot League Championships, placing ninth with a time of 25:10.6. He also led BU to first overall at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational with a second-place finish of his own.
Hannon is pursuing a degree in computer science and has a 3.65 GPA. This is the Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., native's first academic all-league selection for cross country. He also received Runner of the Week honors for the first time following the UMass Dartmouth race.
Laudon competed at the Patriot League Championships and ran 26:45.0 over 8K. He also ran 26:09.2 at the Paul Short Run earlier this season. Laudon, who is in his second year of medical school, makes the academic team for the second season in a row.
