Men's Basketball Wraps Non-Conference Road Slate at Dartmouth Wednesday Night on NESN

BOSTON – The Boston University men's basketball team will head to Dartmouth Wednesday night in the final non-conference road game of the regular season with tip-off slated for 7 p.m. on NESN and ESPN+.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • Following wins at Sacred Heart (70-49) and Wagner (73-59), BU is trying to win three straight non-conference road games for the first time since the 2004-05 season when the Terriers prevailed at Youngstown State, Rhode Island and Harvard.
  • With senior Anthony Morales making his return to action on Sunday against the Seahawks, all 15 Terriers have now made at least one appearance with 10 of them having finished a contest with double-figure points.
  • Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time on Monday, freshman Kyrone Alexander owns a team-high 9.0 ppg with 4.4 rpg. 
  • Sophomore Otto Landrum earned his second career double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds at Wagner to increase his team lead in rebounding to 5.7 rpg alongside 8.6 ppg.
  • The Terriers are 4-0 this season when outscoring opponents in second-chance points and 4-1 when finishing ahead in points off turnovers.
  • BU is averaging 66.6 ppg and 40.8 FG% while holding opponents to 66.5 ppg and 41.7 FG%.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
  • The Big Green are 2-2 at home, most recently dropping a 63-53 decision to Marist on Saturday and 76-64 victory vs. New Hampshire. They previously earned a 79-61 win vs. Westfield State following an 81-48 loss to UMass Lowell.
  • Dartmouth shared one opponent with BU. The Great Danes defeated the Big Green, 73-68, and the Terriers, 86-72, in the same week at home.
  • Dusan Neskovic is averaging a team-high 17.5 ppg alongside 4.3 rpg, while Brandon Mitchell-Day is second in both scoring (12.0 ppg) and rebounding (6.0 rpg). 
  • Jaren Johnson (7.4 ppg) leads Dartmouth at 6.1 rpg and 2.3 apg.
  • Dartmouth is averaging 62.0 ppg and 40.0 FG% while holding opponents to 70.5 ppg and 44.3 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
  • Dartmouth leads the all-time series that dates back to 1925, 22-10.
  • BU has won the last three meetings, including a 67-59 home win last season and 65-62 road victory in 2021.
  • The Terriers return just 13 points from last year's contest and five points from two years prior.
