CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- BU is 65-30 overall in conference tournaments, having won 14 titles and finish runner-up eight times, including last season.
- BU is 19-4 all-time in the Patriot League tournament with 3-0 sweeps in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021. The Terriers won the first two games in 2017 before dropping a pair of one-run decisions at Lehigh in the championship round and then suffered the same fate at home in 2022 with a 1-0 loss and 5-1 defeat.
- The Terriers are making their 13th overall appearance as the No. 1 seed and fifth in the Patriot League after going 2-2 last season at home without a single extra-base hit. They own a 29-10 record with America East championship wins in 1993, 2002, 2003, 2010 and 2012. They finished runner-up in 2011 and went 0-2 in both 2001 and 2007.
- BU returns eight of the 10 starters from the final game last season with 11 of the 18 current Terriers seeing action. Senior Emily Gant is a two-time PL All-Tournament Team honoree (2019, 21), while junior Lauren Nett (2021 MVP), senior Allison Boaz (2022) and junior Lauren Keleher (2022) are one-time All-Tournament members.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- With the help of a program and Patriot League record-breaking 28-game win streak, BU (48-8, 17-1 PL) owns the most wins in both program and PL history. The Terriers reached 40+ wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time ever after hitting the mark in 2009 and 2012.
- The Terriers went 15-1 at home during the regular season with a DH split against Yale that sparked the 28-game win streak. They earned walk-off wins against Lafayette, Colgate and Harvard with three run-rule victories.
- Ranking seventh nationally with a 1.58 ERA and .326 batting average alongside the nation's third-best fielding percentage (.983), the Terriers earned a program record-tying 10 All-PL honors and six total major awards. Junior Kayla Roncin (Player of the Year) and Boaz (Pitcher of the Year) both repeated, while senior Caitlin Coker claimed both Defensive Player and Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. Kasey Ricard added Rookie of the Year recognition, and eighth-year head coach Ashley Waters was tabbed Coach of the Year for the fourth time.
