Brewster's Career Night Propels Men's Basketball to 72-68 Win over American

BOSTON – Boosted by senior Miles Brewster's career-high 21-point performance and 11 combined 3-pointers, the Boston University men's basketball team claimed a 72-68 home victory against American Wednesday night at Case Gym.

The Terriers (6-10, 1-2 PL) shot 50 percent from the field with eight 3-pointers and 12-of-14 at the charity stripe during the second half to hand the Eagles (8-8, 2-1 PL) their first conference loss.

Brewster flushed three 3-pointers and added three assists alongside two steals on his way to becoming the first Terrier to reach 20+ points this season. Freshman Spencer Joyner came off the bench for a season-high 12 points, while sophomore Nico Nobili, junior Ethan Okwuosa and sophomore Ben Roy all had seven points apiece. Freshman Matai Baptiste hauled in a team-high seven rebounds, and sophomore Otto Landrum dished out four assists.
