BOSTON – Hitting the road for the second time in Patriot League play, the Boston University men's basketball team will head down to Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Jan. 13) for a 5 p.m. start time.
Both the Terriers and Greyhounds are coming off their first wins of the new year this past Wednesday. BU earned a 72-68 home win over American, while the Greyhounds posted a 71-65 victory at Army West Point.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- All 13 of BU's non-conference games were decided by nine or more points, while all the conference games so far have been decided by eight points or less, including a hard-fought 62-60 loss at Navy.
- After opening the month of December with road wins at Sacred Heart and Wagner, BU has lost its last two road contests to the Midshipmen and Dartmouth.
- In the win over the Eagles, senior Miles Brewster posted a career-high 21 points with the help of three 3-pointers. He earned BU's first 20+ point performance of the season and is averaging a team-high 10.4 ppg along with 3.1 apg and 1.4 spg.
- Sophomore Otto Landrum ranks second at 8.6 ppg and is averaging a team-high 6.1 rpg. Both he and Brewster are two of seven Terriers to have hit double-digit 3-pointers this season.
- The Terriers are 6-1 this season when finishing with a higher field goal percentage. They are also 5-1 when finishing ahead in made free throws and are 6-2 when outscoring opponents in second-chance opportunities.
- Overall, BU is averaging 65.0 ppg and 40.3 FG% while holding opponents to 65.7 ppg and 41.5 FG%.
- The Greyhounds are 1-4 at home with a 91-57 victory over St. Mary's and 79-73 overtime loss to Delaware State. Loyola lots its PL home opener to Lehigh, 88-76, last Saturday.
- Deon Perry owns a team-high 15.4 ppg while averaging 2.7 made 3-pointers per game. He also leads Loyola at 3.2 apg and 1.4 spg.
- D'Angelo Stines is second on the team in scoring (9.5 ppg) and made 3-pointers per game (2.0) while boasting a team-high 10 blocks.
- Golden Dike (8.1 ppg) leads the Greyhounds in rebounding at 7.9 rpg and is shooting 57.4 percent from the field in the post position.
- Loyola is averaging 66.6 ppg and 43.3 FG% while holding opponents to 75.2 ppg and 46.1 FG%.
- BU leads the all-time series, 17-7, having won eight of the last nine meetings.
- Last year, BU earned a 66-53 home victory and completed the sweep with a 68-67 road victory in which the Greyhounds missed a pair of contested shots in the final seconds.
- The Terriers return a combined 40 points from the two wins, including Brewster's 13-point performance at Reitz Arena.
- BU will return home to host Bucknell on Wednesday (Jan. 17) at 7 p.m. as part of Club Sports Night.
- The Terriers have won six of the last seven meetings, including last year's sweep.
