Men's Basketball Reveals 2026-27 Slate

BOSTON — Highlighted by a Big Ten trip, two Atlantic-10 trips and four games against Ivy League members, the Boston University men's basketball team, as announced by head coach Joe Jones in his 16th season, released its 2026-27 schedule Thursday afternoon. The Terriers will host 14 contests at Case Gym.
Season tickets are now available for new ticket holders and for renewers. Ticket plans include all home games for both women's and men's basketball throughout the 2026-27 campaign. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
Another edition of the crosstown rivalry with Northeastern will kick off a 13-game non-conference slate, followed by 18 Patriot League contests. Seven conferences are represented in the Terriers' non-conference schedule: the America East, Atlantic-10, Big Ten, CAA, CNE, Ivy League and Metro.
Northeastern treks from Huntington to Comm. Ave. on Monday, Nov. 2 to begin season 118. The Terriers hit the road for two contests after that, traveling to Brown on Friday, Nov. 6 and flying to Northwestern on Monday, Nov. 9, the second trip to Evanston in as many years.
Returning to The Roof, the Terriers host CNE foe Johnson & Wales on Thursday, Nov. 12, then the Big Green of Dartmouth come to town on Sunday, Nov. 15. BU heads north to face 2026 MAAC regular season champion Merrimack on Wednesday, Nov. 18 and then heads home to host Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 21. In the Terriers' final contest before Thanksgiving, they will leave the Case Center and take five turns to arrive at Lavietes Pavilion for a game against Harvard on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
The month of December begins with a road game in Rose Hill Gym, Division I's oldest on-campus venue, as BU takes on Fordham on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The Terriers will host New Hampshire on Saturday, Dec. 5 before heading to Saint Joseph's on Tuesday, Dec. 8—the first meeting with the Hawks since 2013. On Saturday, Dec. 12, the Terriers will travel to Maine, then will close out the non-conference schedule with a game at UMass Lowell on Sunday, Dec. 20.
The Patriot League season will start with a game at Loyola Maryland on Wednesday, Dec. 30 and conclude on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Case Gym against Army West Point. The 2027 Patriot League Championship is scheduled for March 2-10, with the hosts being the higher seed in each round.
The 2026-27 campaign returns a talented core from last year's squad that shot a school-record 49.5 FG% on the way to the Patriot League title game. Key returnees include rising junior Azmar Abdullah, and sophomores Sam Hughes and Donte Tisinger Jr. as part of a group that helped BU hit a program-best 319 made 3-pointers. Senior Kyrone Alexander—a 2025 All-Patriot League selection—will return after missing the 2025-26 season.
