February 14, 2026 | Men's Basketball
BOSTON – Highlighted by 13 3-pointers and an impressive rebounding performance in the paint, the Boston University men's basketball team continued its red-hot February with an 82-69 victory over Bucknell Saturday afternoon at Case Gym.
The Terriers (12-15, 7-7 PL) finished 13-for-29 (.448) in 3-point territory and 21-for-23 (.913) at the charity stripe to claim their fourth straight victory, as the Bison (8-19, 5-9 PL) suffered their third consecutive loss shoot 9-for-27 3FG (.333) and 6-for-10 FT (.600). BU claimed a 44-23 advantage in rebounds and edged Bucknell in second-chance points, 11-7.
McNair led BU with 28 points thanks to six 3-pointers and added seven rebounds, while freshman Sam Hughes came up just one rebound shy of his second double-double with 15 points and career-high four steals. Freshman Chance Gladden totaled 14 points with six assists and combined for 11 boards alongside sophomore Ben Defty, who contributed 13 points and personal-best six assists.
Achile Spadone was one of four Bison in double figures with 19 points and three steals. Both Amon Dorries and Jayden Williams recorded 15 points apiece, while Aleksander Pachucki tallied 12 points off the bench. Bucknell shot 50 percent from the field in the second half trying to mount a rally but could never pull closer than within nine points, as BU made the free throws down the stretch.
The Terriers will next host Colgate on Monday (Feb. 16) with a 6 p.m. tip on CBS Sports Network.
