Men's Basketball Set for Midweek Visit at Army West Point

BOSTON – Wrapping up its last multi-game road trip of the regular season, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit Army West Point Wednesday evening with tip-off slated for 6 p.m.
This past Saturday, the Terriers utilized 22 assists to claim a 77-62 win at Bucknell, while the Black Knights won in overtime at home against Navy, 69-67. BU enters the matchup tied for sixth in the Patriot League standings alongside Holy Cross with Lehigh half a game ahead and Army one game behind with Navy.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is looking to avenge an earlier 69-59 home loss to the Black Knights after Army outscored BU in the second half, 46-29. The Terriers are 2-1 so far in rematches with wins at Lafayette and Bucknell alongside a home defeat to Colgate.
- In the win against the Bison, BU shot 42.9 percent from behind the arc. The Terriers are 9-4 this season when finishing over 30.0 FG% in a game and 1-11 when finishing below.
- On Monday, freshman Kyrone Alexander earned his third PL Rookie of the Week award, the most by a Terrier in eight years, after posting a game-high 19 points against the Bison.
- Alexander is one of 12 Terriers to score in double figures at least once this season, which is the second most nationally.
- Senior Miles Brewster leads BU at 10.5 ppg shooting an impressive 41.6 3FG% while also averaging 3.2 apg.
- Sophomore Otto Landrum owns a team-high 5.9 rpg and 20 blocks while averaging 8.7 ppg. He's joined by Alexander, Brewster and sophomore Ben Roy (5.4 ppg) in earning 20+ steals so far.
- Overall, the Terriers are averaging 64.5 ppg and 40.6 FG% while holding opponents to 65.8 ppg and 42.5 FG%.
- The Black Knights are 5-8 at home compared to their 3-9 road mark. In PL play, they defeated Holy Cross (70-57) and the Midshipmen while also taking Lafayette to overtime.
- Named PL Rookie of the Week five times this season, Josh Scovens leads Army at 12.6 ppg as the only Black Knight in double figures alongside 5.3 rpg
- Abe Johnson is averaging an identical 6.5 rpg with 6.5 ppg, while both Ryan Curry (9.7 ppg) and TJ Small (9.3 ppg) own an identical 46 made 3-pointers.
- Army is averaging 61.0 ppg and 40.4 FG% while holding opponents to 63.6 ppg and 42.3 FG%.
- The Black Knights are averaging 1.6 more made 3-pointers per game, but opponents are making 3.6 more shots from the charity stripe.
- BU leads the all-time series, 22-18, with the Black Knights winning three of the last four meetings.
- Five of the last seven contests have been decided in single digits with three games decided by two or fewer points.
- Overall, the Terriers are 11-7 at home compared to the 11-11 road mark.
- The Terriers return home to host Navy on Saturday (Feb. 17) with a 1 p.m. start time.
