Craig Repeats as Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After collecting three No. 1 singles wins in straight sets, Boston University men's tennis sophomore Corey Craig has repeated as the Patriot League Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The reigning PL Rookie of the Year earned his third career weekly award by winning 36 out of 48 games played in singles action to help BU defeat MIT, Stonehill and Bentley. A native of Coconut Creek, Florida, Craig started off by cruising to a 6-2, 6-3 win at MIT this past Saturday afternoon.
Later that evening, Craig first teamed with sophomore Jakob Esterowitz for a 6-3 win over Stonehill at No. 2 doubles. He then earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the top singles match. He wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at home in a 6-1, 6-1 win against Bentley.
The Terriers will next visit Bryant on Friday (Feb. 16) at 1:45 p.m.
