April 20, 2024 | Softball
BOSTON – Highlighted by sophomore Kasey Ricard's 12 strikeouts and a pair of two-out, two-RBI singles in the fifth, the No. 23 nationally-ranked Boston University softball earned a 7-0 home win over Bucknell Saturday afternoon.
With their 26th straight home victory and fifth 7+ run performance in six contests, the Terriers improve to 38-4 and 10-0 in Patriot League play, while the Bison drop to 15-23 (6-7 PL). Ricard (19-3) allowed just two hits without a single walk to become the third Terrier in program history to earn at least 12 shutouts in one season.
