Women’s Rowing Caps Day One at 60th Head of the Charles

BOSTON – The Boston University women's rowing program opened its first day of racing at the 60th Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday (Oct. 18), as the DeWolfe Boathouse served as the starting line. BU featured an alumnae boat and two crews with current student-athletes.
The Women's Alumnae Eights kicked the day off, placing 27th with a time of 18:06.326.
BU's Club 4+ had the best finish on the day, taking sixth with a time of 18:24.895. The Terriers notably placed ahead of boats from Dartmouth, Boston College, Georgetown, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lehigh, MIT and more. In the Club 8+ race, BU finished 18th with a time of 17:06.453.
