Boston University Athletics launched its annual fundraising efforts with another successful Terriers Together campaign, raising more than $570,000 during the three-day initiative.
For the sixth consecutive fall, the BU community rallied to support the future for Terrier teams on Oct. 14-16 with a 57-percent increase from last year's Terriers Together dollar total by way of over 1,000 gifts. The final amount marked the second most raised since the inaugural campaign.
In the days leading up to the event, head coaches were asked to identify specific fundraising priorities. Thanks to a generous match from Carrie and Tim Burr (MET'97), the seven teams that successfully reached their fundraising goals received bonus contributions, which significantly increased the impact of this year's campaign.
BU Athletics would like to thank all who participated to help make this another successful campaign.
