Faulha Secures Weekly PL Award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Senior Owen Faulha has been named Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Faulha broke the school record in the javelin throw at the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Florida on Friday, throwing his javelin 66.55 meters. The mark is ninth in the NCAA East Region and leads the Patriot League by just under three meters. This is Faulha's first time winning a PL weekly award.
Freshman Guy Margalit and sophomore Karsen Vesty also received honorable mentions for their performances. Margalit reached a wind-aided mark of 14.95m in the triple jump to lead the Patriot League this season, but his wind-legal jump of 14.48m ranks ninth all-time at BU. Vesty ran a league-leading 1:49.12 in the 800m, winning the race and moving into 7th all-time at BU.
Next up for the Terriers, they travel to the Texas State Bobcat Invitational and the Raleigh Relays from Thursday, March 27 to Saturday, March 29.
