Women’s Rowing Garners Seven All-Patriot League Honorees

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seven members of the Patriot League Champion Boston University women's rowing team were named to the All-Patriot League Teams, the league announced Tuesday. Four Terriers were selected to the first team while three were chosen for the second team.
Freshman Sotiria Angou, sophomores Ingrid Eshuis and Lydia Pelton and senior Audrey Lucerne received First Team All-Patriot League honors. Graduate student Kat Robbins and freshmen Raylynn Boston and Gigi Williams were named to the Second Team All-Patriot League.
All seven were in BU's Varsity 8+ boat that took first at the Patriot League Championship. The crew was named the Patriot League Boat of the Year and helped BU claim its second league title in a row. Lucerne coxed the boat while Angou sat stroke seat, Eshuis sat seven seat and Pelton sat six seat. Williams sat five seat, Robbins sat four seat and Boston sat two seat.
Lucerne's honor is her second on the first team and Robbins' is her third second team selection. Eshius, Pelton, Angou, Boston and Williams all earn their first career honor to their respective teams. Angou is also the first freshman since 2014 to receive first team honors.
BU will learn its seeding in the NCAA Selection Show Tuesday (May 20), airing at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com. The 2025 NCAA Championships will take place at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. from May 30 to June 1.
